My vision for this site or blog is twofold. First, it is my way of documenting my thinking and the processes I go through to accomplish different tasks in my day-to-day activities. Second, and perhaps a very ambitious goal, is that this is my way of sharing what I believe is valuable knowledge and skills. Of course, it follows that my primary audience is future me. But, I hope my fellow Health Economists will benefit significantly from what I get to share here. I look forward to learning from the process and the constructive feedback I wish to receive.

Bio
I am a son, brother, husband and father. I trained as a pharmacist in grad school but pursued a career in Public Health, Economics and Decision Modelling just a year after graduation in 2007. I enjoy teaching but love learning and using programming languages in Health Economics Modelling and Statistical analysis. I currently use R in various modelling projects, ranging from state transition models to discrete event simulations, coupled with C++ in agent-based modelling. Moreover, I am researching the methodological challenges in calibrating decision-analytic models in my PhD project. ↩
